Vietnamese developer MIK Group has begun work on The Harbor Skyline, a high-rise housing project covering nearly 50 hectares on Hai Phong's Vu Yen island. The development is the company's first project in the northern port city under its I Series apartment brand.

MIK Group has yet to announce the project's total investment or building schedule. I Series is one of its two principal apartment lines, alongside M Series, which serve different housing needs and market segments.

I Series represents an estimated 70-80% of the developer's high-rise apartment portfolio. MIK Group has brought around 17,000 apartments under the brand to market and plans another 200,000 units in the coming years. Its projects include Imperia Smart City, Imperia Signature Co Loa and Imperia Ocean City.

Other developers also have projects in Hai Phong. Vingroup's developments include Vinhomes Royal Island, which spans 877 hectares on Vu Yen island. Hoang Huy Group has Hoang Huy New City and Hoang Huy Green River in Thuy Nguyen, while DOJI Land's high-rise projects include Diamond Crown Hai Phong and Golden Crown Hai Phong. Masterise Homes is also pursuing the premium apartment market, particularly in Thuy Nguyen.
