Sentral Reit posts RM19.82 million quarterly profit as occupancy improves
Portfolio occupancy reached 90 per cent at Sept 30, 2026, recording a sixth consecutive quarter of improvement.

Sentral Reit recorded a net profit of RM19.82 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2026, a 0.7 per cent increase from RM19.69 million a year earlier. Quarterly revenue also advanced 0.7 per cent, reaching RM48.58 million against RM48.26 million.
Over the first nine months of 2026, net profit reached RM59.71 million, up 0.5 per cent from RM59.43 million. Revenue for that period was RM145.68 million, an increase of 1.6 per cent from RM143.42 million.
The trust's manager, Sentral Reit Management Sdn Bhd, attributed the nine-month performance to increased occupancy, better rental rates and higher finance income. These factors helped offset a rise in property operating expenses, it said.
Occupancy across the portfolio stood at 90 per cent on Sept 30, 2026, compared with 86 per cent a year earlier. This was the sixth successive quarter of improvement. During the first nine months, 124,000 sq ft was scheduled for lease renewal, equivalent to 5.8 per cent of total net lettable area; 84 per cent of the leases were renewed.
Chairman Tan Sri Saw Choo Boon said Arcoris Mont' Kiara was making a meaningful revenue contribution, while capital recycling from Wisma Sentral Inai had strengthened the trust's balance sheet.
Total assets were RM2.6 billion at Sept 30, 2026. Net asset value per unit rose to RM1.1169 from RM1.1144 at Dec 31, 2025. Chief executive officer Tay Hui Ling said the trust was positioned to pursue selective, accretive acquisitions to diversify its portfolio and support sustainable distribution growth.
