Kobay quarterly net profit rises 73.3 per cent to RM18.65 million
Manufacturing revenue grew 33.7 per cent, with the company citing continued semiconductor industry expansion.

Kobay Technology Bhd reported net profit of RM18.65 million for its first quarter ended September 30, 2026, up 73.3 per cent from RM10.76 million a year earlier. Revenue reached RM130.24 million, an increase of 17.5 per cent from RM110.88 million.
The engineering solutions provider attributed the improvement mainly to manufacturing, saying the division benefited from further expansion of the semiconductor industry. Manufacturing generated RM96.3 million in revenue, up 33.7 per cent year on year, and contributed 73.9 per cent of group revenue.
Managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Koay said quarterly net profit was the highest recorded since Kobay's listing. It exceeded the earlier record of RM15.1 million set in the third quarter of FY22.
Koay said semiconductor orders already secured had given the group better visibility on revenue and were expected to underpin performance over the coming months. Kobay also plans to improve capacity utilisation, operating efficiency and costs while seeking new customers and broadening its products and services.
