West River lands RM17.85 million in residential engineering contracts
The larger award covers electrical work in Puchong, while the second involves air conditioning and ventilation at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Two residential projects in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur have brought West River Bhd engineering subcontracts worth RM17.85 million in total. The company secured both awards through West River Engineering Sdn Bhd (WRE), its wholly-owned subsidiary.
For the Puchong project, China Construction Development (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd selected WRE for a fixed-price electrical package valued at RM11.0 million. The development for Interpile (M) Sdn Bhd will have 526 apartments within a 34-storey block, plus a seven-storey podium accommodating parking and a recreational floor.
Completion of the electrical work is scheduled for Nov 17, 2028, following the main contractor's timetable. WRE's responsibilities extend from electrical infrastructure to technical coordination, quality assurance and compliance with regulations, as well as testing and commissioning.
At Park Green in Pavilion Bukit Jalil, BUCG (M) Sdn Bhd awarded WRE a nominated subcontract worth RM6.85 million. WRE will supply and install air conditioning and mechanical ventilation equipment and ancillary components, handle delivery, and conduct testing and commissioning in accordance with BUCG's programme.
That development, undertaken for Regal Path Sdn Bhd, includes 453 serviced apartments in two blocks, basement levels, resident facilities and a 10-storey podium. Managing director Lim Yong Lai said the awards added to West River's order book in both engineering disciplines.
