Indonesia’s BPI Danantara is preparing an investment budget of Rp200 trillion for 2027, funded mainly through dividends from the state-owned enterprises it oversees. Chief operating officer Dony Oskaria outlined the funding plans at an investment forum in Jakarta on 26 October 2026.

The split between its investment businesses has not yet been disclosed. Sigit Puji Santosa, Danantara’s chief technology officer and chief executive of Danantara Development Management Fund (DDMF), said the organisation was still drawing up its 2027 corporate budget plan.

Sigit indicated that Danantara Investment Management (DIM) could receive 65–70 per cent of the allocation because its commercial investments were ready to proceed. He said DDMF would handle longer-term investments with strategic impact, while commercial investments would probably receive more funding than government projects.

DIM, led by Danantara chief investment officer Pandu Sjahrir, focuses on commercial investments. DDMF finances national strategic projects. Dony said sound management of state-owned enterprises was essential to sustaining Danantara, given its reliance on their dividends for investment funding.
