Vingroup and Legends Global announced an agreement on 4 November 2026 to jointly manage and operate VinFast – Trong Dong Stadium in Hanoi. The companies said their partnership would also cover efforts to bring international sporting, cultural and entertainment events to the venue.

Legends Global will help manage the stadium and its facilities, coordinate vendors and oversee services on site. It will also support training and skills development for Vingroup’s venue management staff in Vietnam.

The companies described the arrangement as a long-term, exclusive partnership. It includes Legends Global supplying Vingroup with stadium, arena and live-event services in Vietnam. Stadium specialist Paul Sergeant OBE has arrived in Hanoi to supervise technical work and preparations before opening, while recruitment for the operations team is under way.

According to Vingroup, the stadium’s design draws on the Dong Son bronze drum and the Lac bird. Plans include an automated retractable roof, a playing surface designed to meet FIFA standards, and systems for real-time security oversight and monitoring crowd movements.

The venue forms part of the Hung Vuong International Sports Complex, which will include training grounds and other sports facilities. The wider development is also planned to contain hotels, shopping centres, hospitals, parks, theatres, and villages focused on culture and food.
