Thailand’s Oil Fuel Fund Committee has fixed compensation for standard diesel at ฿3.20 per litre and B20 diesel at ฿8.32 per litre, with the rates taking effect on 24 October.

The decision appears in Notice No. 134, dated 23 October, which supersedes Notice No. 133 of 22 October. It covers domestically manufactured fuel as well as imports intended for use in Thailand.

Under the notice, the fund provides compensation at these rates:

  • Standard diesel: ฿3.20 per litre
  • B20 diesel: ฿8.32 per litre
  • Gasohol 95 and gasohol 91: ฿0.56 per litre
  • Gasohol E20: ฿5.16 per litre
  • Gasohol E85: ฿1.69 per litre

Other fuels are subject to contributions to the fund:

  • Petrol: ฿6.30 per litre
  • Premium diesel: ฿1.50 per litre
  • Diesel permitted to use a biodiesel blend below the required level: ฿1 per litre
  • Slow-speed diesel: ฿1.20 per litre
  • Kerosene: ฿0.10 per litre
  • Fuel oil: ฿0.06 per litre

For fuels subsequently exempted from contributions, the notice also specifies refunds and compensation refunds based on the applicable rate for each fuel.

The rates form part of Thailand’s national fuel crisis response plan and the Oil Fuel Fund’s 2026 to 2029 strategic plan. Those plans seek to stabilise domestic fuel prices and limit exposure to price fluctuations and supply risks.
