ST Engineering secures S$5.6 billion in third-quarter contracts
The Singapore-listed group reported S$13.2 billion in contract wins for the first nine months of 2026.

ST Engineering said on Oct 27 that new orders totalled S$5.6 billion in the third quarter of 2026, led by its urban solutions and satcom operations. That segment accounted for S$2.4 billion, according to the engineering group’s stock exchange filing.
Defence and public security contributed S$1.8 billion, while commercial aerospace added S$1.4 billion. The quarterly awards took the group’s contract wins to S$13.2 billion for the first nine months of the year.
Rail orders included turnkey services for Taoyuan’s 11.4 km brown metro line and its green line extension, alongside communications and rail electronics work in Singapore. The group also won road-tolling work in Dubai and the US, while satellite communications orders covered deployments of its multi-orbit Intuition platform and operator modernisation programmes.
In defence, the group secured a five-year agreement to provide 40 mm ammunition to the UK Defence Ministry. Other awards covered data centre services, digital public safety infrastructure and command-and-control systems for defence.
Singapore customers awarded cybersecurity work, while the group’s marine and defence aerospace operations there expanded maintenance, repair and overhaul support for US naval vessels and international C-130 operators.
Commercial aerospace orders included the group’s first heavy-maintenance contract for an Airbus A220 airframe with an Asia-Pacific operator. It also secured an exclusive two-year agreement with Hebei Airlines for CFM56-7B engine performance-restoration shop visits and a multi-year component maintenance, repair and overhaul agreement with Collins Aerospace.
