Rock Link Sdn Bhd has awarded AME Construction Sdn Bhd a RM120 million contract for a BAC manufacturing and testing facility in Nilai, Negri Sembilan. AME Construction is the construction subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Bhd.

The 30,000 sq m development is due to be finished within 14 months. BAC will use it as a technical hub serving Asia Pacific, with cooling systems for applications including data centres, advanced semiconductor manufacturing and artificial intelligence infrastructure.

At the Kawasan Perindustrian Nilai site, plans include a detached factory on one storey, an engineering office on two storeys and supporting buildings. Production will cover hybrid systems, adiabatic coolers, liquid cooling solutions and closed-circuit cooling towers.

Engineers will also have a laboratory with controlled climatic conditions to develop and test technologies for tropical environments and high-density applications. The design targets LEED Gold and FM Approved standards.

Dylan Tan Teck Eng, AME Elite's executive director and group chief executive officer, linked rising demand for specialised industrial premises to changes in global technology supply chains. Before this award, AME Elite had an external construction and engineering order book of RM485.7 million as at June 30, 2026.
