Kistler opens Asia-Pacific headquarters in Kuala Lumpur
The facility brings engineering, technical support, logistics and customer services together for clients across several regional markets.

Measurement technology manufacturer Kistler Group announced on 27 October 2026 that it had opened an Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The company said the facility would give industrial customers direct access to engineering expertise and technical assistance.
The headquarters combines application engineering and logistics with technical support and customer engagement. Its coverage includes Southeast Asia as well as India, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
Kistler said it was investing to strengthen its Asian presence and expected stable development across the region. Chief executive Marc Schaad said the headquarters would bring the group closer to customers. The company also plans to expand cooperation with academic institutions and industry partners.
The opening drew Kistler's global leadership, Swiss Ambassador to Malaysia Chantal Moser and Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce representatives. Among its existing Malaysian applications, Kistler cited systems on the Penang Second Bridge that collect traffic and load data to support the structure's protection and operational reliability.
