Spectre opens fourth factory in Vietnam, its second in Hung Yen
The ₫477 billion garment project aims to produce 3.5 million items a year and is expected to employ roughly 2,000 workers once operations stabilise.

Danish garment maker Spectre Group expanded its Vietnam operations on October 30 with the inauguration of Spectre 2 Hung Yen at Song Tra Industrial Park. The opening takes its factory count in Vietnam to four, with two located in Hung Yen province.
Provincial People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Hoa put the project’s investment at ₫477 billion. Covering 5 hectares, it targets yearly production of 3.5 million high-tech garments and includes around 9,400 square metres of premises available for factory and office tenants.
Hoa said the project is expected to provide roughly 2,000 jobs once operations stabilise. Annual revenue is projected at about ₫800 billion, with contributions to the State budget expected to exceed ₫100 billion.
VNA reported that the facility holds LEED Gold certification. Its use of solar energy and modern building design is expected to lower yearly CO2 emissions by about 1,600 tonnes relative to similarly sized conventional factories.
Spectre’s co-owner and Chief Business Development Officer Jesper Klausen said its Vietnamese workforce now numbers nearly 6,000 across sites in Hung Yen, Ninh Binh and An Giang. He said investment in Vietnam totals more than US$60 million, with the company’s first production site there dating to 2010.
