Petronas Gas moves processing and utilities units into subsidiaries
The two subsidiaries started operations on Nov 1, 2026, but the gas transportation transfer will take place later, subject to conditions.

Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB) has moved two business units into subsidiaries, completing part of its proposed internal reorganisation with effect from Nov 1, 2026, the company told Bursa Malaysia.
PG Gas Processing Sdn Bhd took over the gas processing business, while PG Utilities East Sdn Bhd received the utilities business. PGB said both subsidiaries started running those operations on Nov 1.
The company said the transfers followed satisfaction of conditions set out in separate business transfer agreements. Some conditions concerning regulatory approvals and the issue of new licences and approvals were waived, as permitted by those agreements.
A further step in the reorganisation remains outstanding. PGB said its gas transportation business would be transferred and/or vested in PG TransCo Sdn Bhd at a later date. That step remains conditional on meeting the requirements specified in the applicable business transfer agreement.
