Foreign investors recorded net purchases of Rp28.79 trillion in Indonesian government securities, Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara said at a briefing on financial stability for the third quarter of 2026 in Jakarta.

Suahasil cited the inflows as evidence that the government securities market remained resilient despite volatility in global financial markets. He presented the figures at a press conference of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK), held at the Bank Indonesia building.

He also reported a yield gap of 183 basis points between Indonesia’s 10-year government bonds and US Treasuries, a slight decline from the level at the end of 2025. Investors monitor that spread when assessing the appeal of Indonesian sovereign debt relative to US government securities.

KSSK was monitoring developments in both domestic and international financial markets as part of its efforts to maintain financial system stability in the third quarter of 2026.
