The state-owned Land Bank of the Philippines reported net income of ₱37.53 billion for January to September 2026, up 8%, attributing the increase to growth in its core banking business.

LandBank said earnings for the third quarter totalled ₱13.32 billion. At the end of September, it held assets of ₱3.56 trillion and deposits of ₱3.11 trillion.

The bank processed 713.16 million digital transactions over the nine months, a 29% increase. Their combined value reached ₱3.83 trillion, up 22%. Unique active users of its mobile banking app rose 71% to 3.69 million.

President and chief executive officer Lynette Ortiz attributed the performance to clients’ continued trust and said the bank was fulfilling its development mandate while maintaining disciplined operations.

LandBank’s mandate combines rural development with financial viability. Its responsibilities include implementing the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), supporting small farmers and fisherfolk, and acting as an official depository for government funds.
