Malaysia's Home Ministry has awarded Infomina Bhd a contract worth RM32.11 million for maintenance and technical support of core applications used by the National Registration Department, the company said. Service tax is excluded from the value.

Infomina accepted the ministry's letter of acceptance on Oct 27. The agreement spans 24 months, beginning Nov 1, 2026, and ending Oct 31, 2028. Its responsibilities also cover managing files and data, training users, running technical courses and conducting review workshops.

The company anticipates a positive earnings contribution during the agreement's term. Chief executive officer and managing director Yee Chee Meng said the services would help maintain the reliability and operational effectiveness of the department's core applications.

Separately, Infomina's revenue for its first quarter, which ended Aug 31, 2026, reached RM76.2 million after rising 39.6 per cent year-on-year. Net profit climbed 27.3 per cent to RM12.6 million.

The newly reported segment covering artificial intelligence solutions and data business services generated RM8.4 million. That represented about 11 per cent of the company's total revenue.
