Workers designated to receive Indonesia’s 2026 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) will get Rp900,000 as a single payment, the Ministry of Manpower said. The assistance covers three months at Rp300,000 per month.

Indah Anggoro Putri, the ministry’s director general of industrial relations development and labour social security, said recipients must hold Indonesian citizenship and a Population Identification Number (NIK). Their membership of the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) must have been active as of August 2026.

The general earnings ceiling is Rp3.5 million per month. Where the Regency/Municipal Minimum Wage (UMK) exceeds that amount, the ceiling follows the local minimum wage, rounded upwards to a full Rp100,000. Locations without a UMK use the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP), with the same rounding applied.

Eligibility checks use the latest employer-reported pay figure held in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s membership database. Basic salary and fixed allowances both count towards that figure.

Civil servants, serving Indonesian Military personnel and active National Police members are excluded. Workers not receiving Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance in the current fiscal year, before BSU distribution, will receive priority.

Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 16 of 2026 and its technical implementation guidelines set out the requirements. Putri said the government intended the assistance to help sustain workers’ purchasing power and economic resilience.
