Indonesia plans December mortgage signing for 71,000 subsidised homes
Malang in East Java is set to be the main venue, with the date dependent on President Prabowo Subianto's schedule.

Indonesia plans to hold a nationwide event in December to sign subsidised mortgage agreements covering 71,000 homes, Housing and Settlements Minister Maruarar Sirait said. The main venue would be Malang, East Java.
Sirait visited the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Oct. 26 to invite President Prabowo Subianto. He said the event's date would be arranged around the president's schedule.
The mortgages would fall under the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP), a government-backed programme. The planned signing would be the fourth such nationwide event and the largest by number of homes covered.
Earlier signings covered 26,000 homes in Bogor, West Java, in September 2025 and 50,030 in Serang, Banten, that December. Another event in Batang, Central Java, covered 62,710 FLPP mortgages in July 2026.
Separately, the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) reported that 464,201 subsidised mortgages had been disbursed during Prabowo's first two years in office as of Oct. 20. Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho put the financing at Rp57.7 trillion.
For Jan. 1–Oct. 20, 2026, disbursements covered 185,333 homes with Rp23.09 trillion in financing. That amounted to 52.95 per cent of the annual target of 350,000 FLPP mortgages.
