FOMO Pay has linked its service to PantherTrade through Travel Rule connectivity, enabling eligible business customers to move digital assets from FOMO Pay accounts directly to the Hong Kong trading platform.

Transfers using the connection do not require external third-party wallets. Futu Holdings, which wholly owns and developed PantherTrade, said the connection was the platform’s first Travel Rule integration involving a licensed institution overseas.

The Financial Action Task Force’s Travel Rule obliges virtual asset service providers to collect specified information identifying senders and recipients and transmit it for applicable transfers. FOMO Pay and PantherTrade share those details during transactions to support compliance.

The companies said the arrangement could ease transfers for businesses and institutions conducting treasury, investment and trading activities using digital assets. They also expect broader investor access to investment products offered by Futu.

PantherTrade started full-scale operations under its licence in March 2026. Futu had earlier outlined plans to connect PantherTrade with its Hong Kong retail brokerage, Futu Securities.
