Bank Mandiri reports Rp50.63 trillion in dividend payments for 2026
The Indonesian bank also repurchased 91.75 million shares, which were transferred through an employee share ownership programme in June.

Bank Mandiri said its dividend distributions during calendar 2026 totalled about Rp50.63 trillion, comprising Rp44.47 trillion for the 2025 financial year and an interim payment of Rp6.16 trillion for the 2026 financial year.
Finance & Strategy Director Novita Widya Anggraini said the interim dividend allowed shareholders to receive returns earlier. She said the amount took account of capital needed for expansion and potential risks. The bank said it also assessed realised profits, capital adequacy and liquidity when considering the payment.
Under its latest buyback programme, Mandiri repurchased 91.75 million shares and subsequently transferred them through an employee share ownership programme on 24–29 June 2026. The bank said its 2026 annual general meeting had approved using repurchased shares for the programme, subject to Financial Services Authority (OJK) rules.
Mandiri described buybacks as part of its regular capital management strategy, while taking business development needs and financial conditions into account. It said the employee share programme was intended to strengthen staff ownership and productivity and link their contribution to the bank’s longer-term performance.
For the period through August 2026, Mandiri reported bank-only lending of Rp1,592 trillion and third-party funds of Rp1,687 trillion, both up 17.6 per cent year on year. Industry third-party funds grew 13.7 per cent. Bank-only net profit reached Rp37.5 trillion, an increase of 22.3 per cent. Its gross non-performing loan ratio was 1.00 per cent, with a coverage ratio of 240.6 per cent.
