Econpile Holdings Bhd said its wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, has won a RM73 million piling and foundation contract for a new Hospital Tung Shin building on Jalan Pudu in Kuala Lumpur. SA Architects Sdn Bhd awarded the contract on the hospital’s behalf.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Econpile outlined work covering earth-retaining structures and piling, as well as pile caps and the slab for the lowest basement. The company said the project runs for 21 months from November 1, 2026.

The proposed building will have two basement levels. Hospital facilities will occupy three lower-ground levels and six upper levels, while parking will take up five levels. The plans also include two levels for offices and a mechanical level on the rooftop.

Econpile said it expects the contract to make a positive contribution to both revenue and earnings, starting in its financial year that ends on June 30, 2027.
