DBS leads ASEAN brand ranking with 8% rise in value
The region’s 500 top-ranked brands were worth a combined S$404 billion in 2026, an 8% year-on-year increase, according to Brand Finance.

Brand Finance has placed DBS at the head of its 2026 ASEAN brand ranking, valuing the bank at S$23.8 billion after an 8% rise. It attributed the increase to record financial performance, alongside higher earnings from wealth management and markets trading.
The ranking covered 500 brands across the region. Marina Bay Sands achieved the largest increase in absolute brand value, with a 35% gain bringing its valuation to S$10.2 billion.
On percentage growth, TeleChoice International outpaced the other brands: its valuation rose 288% to S$67.9 million. The assessment linked that expansion to consumer technology, enterprise digitalisation and telecommunications infrastructure.
PETRONAS took first place on Brand Finance’s Sustainability Perceptions Value measure, at S$1.7 billion. The firm attributed its position to an energy transition strategy targeting net zero carbon emissions.
For OCBC Bank, the assessment identified a positive sustainability perceptions gap of S$21.8 million, the largest in ASEAN. This indicated that stakeholders’ views of its sustainability performance lagged behind its actual performance.
The sector tables put Singtel first among telecommunications brands, valued at S$5.3 billion. Singapore Airlines headed the airline category with S$3.9 billion, while Millennium Hotels and Resorts held the hotel lead at S$673.3 million.
