WIKA's new contracts rise 57.9% to Rp9.78 trillion through September
Construction-support industries contributed the largest share, while state-owned enterprises accounted for 49.5% of new contracts.

Indonesia's PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, known as WIKA, reported Rp9.78 trillion in new contracts through the end of September 2026, up 57.9% from Rp6.20 trillion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
Construction-support industries represented 36.3% of the total, followed by infrastructure and buildings at 31.3%. Energy and industrial plants contributed 27.2%, with property and investment accounting for 5.2%. By client type, state-owned enterprises made up 49.5%, government clients 29.1% and private-sector clients 19.5%.
In a statement dated 4 November 2026, WIKA corporate secretary Ngatemin said the company remained selective about tenders, prioritising projects with clear funding sources and sound payment arrangements as part of its financial recovery efforts.
Among its projects are Section 6B of a toll road in East Kalimantan, emergency works on the Sibolga–Padang Sidempuan national road and rehabilitation of the Tukka River in North Sumatra. Building work includes Sekolah Garuda in North Kalimantan, Weda regional hospital in North Maluku, and rehabilitation and reconstruction of madrasah and healthcare facilities in Aceh.
WIKA also won a civil works contract in September 2026 for the hot-side revamp of PT Garuda Yamato Steel's BP1 beam plant in Cikarang, West Java. Its scope covers foundations and structures, including work around the reheating furnace, with completion targeted for April 2027.
According to WIKA, the revamp will raise the plant's annual production capacity from 400,000 tonnes to 540,000 tonnes.
