PT Bank KB Indonesia Tbk. (BBKP), known as KB Bank, completed the sale of an 85% stake in PT KB Bukopin Finance (KBBF) to JB Woori Capital Co., Ltd. on 4 November 2026. The bank disclosed the transaction on 5 November.

The deal involved 135,529 shares and was valued at Rp339,966,645,860. Completion followed the signing of a share sale deed and receipt of payment, with all closing conditions fulfilled.

Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) approved the proposed ownership change in a letter dated 28 August 2026. KB Bank retains 22,704 shares in KBBF, equivalent to 14.24% of its issued and paid-up capital.

The bank said the divestment added liquidity and supported its efforts to optimise capital allocation. It said the sale would help it concentrate on its core banking operations and support sustainable business growth, without negatively affecting operations, financial conditions or business continuity.

KB Bank also said the deal was neither an affiliated transaction nor one involving a conflict of interest under POJK No. 42/POJK.04/2020.
