JTrust Bank plans to appoint Firman Wibowo after CEO tenders resignation
The proposed appointment of the current commissioner requires approval from Indonesia's financial regulator, shareholders and other relevant regulators.

PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. plans to name Abdullah Firman Wibowo as its next president director after CEO Ritsuo Fukadai submitted his resignation. The bank outlined the proposed leadership change in a stock exchange disclosure dated 4 November 2026, ahead of the 2027 financial year.
Firman, currently a member of the bank's board of commissioners, needs approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), a general meeting of shareholders and other relevant regulators before taking the role, management said.
Fukadai's resignation letter, dated 30 October 2026, was sent to shareholders and the board of commissioners. His departure also remains subject to OJK and shareholder approval. He has served as CEO since 2019.
Firman's previous positions include president director of PT Bank BNI Syariah and deputy president director of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. His career at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. covered risk management, treasury, international banking and oversight of subsidiaries. He also served as general manager of BNI's Tokyo branch.
JTrust management said Firman's existing supervisory role would help maintain business continuity during the transition. It expects his experience to support expansion among local corporations, state-owned enterprises and Islamic institutions, while strengthening risk management and governance.
The bank reported net profit for the year to the end of September 2026 of Rp57.55 billion and lending of Rp31.39 trillion. Total assets stood at Rp42.12 trillion in the third quarter of 2026.
