Indo Tambangraya plans share buyback of up to Rp2.311 trillion
The programme is scheduled for 5 November 2026 to 4 February 2027 and will be funded entirely from the company's internal cash.

PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) plans to spend up to Rp2.311 trillion buying back its shares amid significant capital market fluctuations, according to its disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The planned purchase period runs from 5 November 2026 to 4 February 2027.
Management said internal cash would fund the entire programme. It described the move as support for government efforts to maintain Indonesia's capital market stability and said it hoped the purchases would help stabilise trading in ITMG shares and sustain investor confidence.
Shares purchased under the programme, together with treasury shares retained from earlier buybacks, will not exceed 20 per cent of paid-up capital, the company said. Public free-float requirements will also apply. Purchases may end when the spending ceiling is reached, at the scheduled closing date or if the company decides to stop earlier.
Pro forma calculations based on consolidated financial statements as at 30 June 2026 project that using the full budget would reduce total assets from US$2.42 billion to US$2.29 billion. Equity would fall from US$1.91 billion to US$1.78 billion.
Assuming profit for the period remains US$105.99 million, earnings per share are projected to rise from US$0.095 to US$0.103, while return on equity would increase from 11.1 per cent to 11.9 per cent. Management said it expected no material impact on finances or operations, citing sufficient retained earnings and internal cash flow.
