The Jakarta Running Festival and Ye’s 2026 concert generated an estimated Rp625 billion in economic activity for the Indonesian capital, according to Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo. He said the estimate covered measurable spending, including at hotels and shopping malls.

Pramono put the running festival’s contribution at approximately Rp175 billion, citing calculations by officials coordinated by the Jakarta Government’s Financial Assistant. The festival’s race expo involved 49 micro, small and medium enterprises and 130 local and international brands.

The governor attributed Rp450 billion to “Ye Live in Jakarta 2026”, with ticket sales accounting for Rp328 billion. He said the concert’s economic effects extended beyond the performance itself, with visitors spending time in the city before and after the event.

Pramono said he believed the combined impact was higher than Rp625 billion because some economic activity had not been measured. Jakarta was the only concert host city in Southeast Asia and Oceania, drawing fans from countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia and the United States.
