Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd reported net profit of RM63.19 million for its first quarter of financial year 2027, which ended on Aug 31, 2026. That was a 7.6 per cent increase from RM58.75 million a year earlier.

Revenue reached RM793.67 million, up 16 per cent from RM684.33 million in the corresponding quarter. In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company attributed the improvement to its expanding retail network, which added 15 net new stores during the period.

The group declared a single-tier interim dividend totalling approximately RM35.1 million, or 0.61 sen per ordinary share. Payment is scheduled for Nov 27, 2026.

Chief executive officer Jessica Ng said same-store sales growth had turned positive during the quarter. The group aims to open another 100 stores in FY2027, following 100 openings in the previous financial year.

Ng said efforts to improve existing outlets include store refreshes and greater use of data analytics to understand members. A new customer relationship management programme is due to launch in the current financial year. She also said the group remained focused on efficient expansion and disciplined cost management.
