PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. (BBTN) said its mortgage disbursements reached Rp552 trillion through September 2026. The Indonesian lender reported that it held 39% of the housing finance market in June 2026.

Speaking at a discussion in Bandung on 23 October 2026, BTN president director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said the bank was extending its financial services for Indonesian families while maintaining its role in housing finance.

BTN said subsidised mortgages remained part of its efforts to serve low-income households. It is also partnering with community groups and professional organisations to reach informal workers whose access to financing is limited.

Housing programmes delivered in partnership with ministries and government agencies covered 35,808 homes between January and September 2026. Recipients included teachers, health workers, media workers, labourers and police personnel, the bank said.

For its Kredit Program Perumahan (KPP) scheme, BTN reported realised credit limits of Rp6.16 trillion for 9,236 borrowers as of 20 October 2026. Supply-side financing accounted for Rp4.02 trillion, while Rp2.14 trillion went to the demand side. The bank works with more than 8,000 developer partners and also offers financing to contractors and businesses supplying building materials.

BTN put its consolidated non-performing loan ratio at 3% in June 2026. It said its business transformation aims to keep expansion balanced with profitability and credit-risk management.
