Bakrie & Brothers posts Rp4.12 trillion revenue despite lower net profit
The Indonesian group reported higher gross and operating profits, while a director linked the net profit decline mainly to increased floating-rate interest costs.

PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) recorded a decline in net profit for the third quarter of 2026, despite net revenue climbing 55.45% to Rp4.12 trillion. Revenue stood at Rp2.65 trillion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
The company reported gross profit of Rp1.13 trillion, a 127.82% increase from Rp496.8 billion. Its operating profit reached Rp596.24 billion, compared with Rp26.41 billion previously, while EBITDA rose 707.86% to Rp810.25 billion.
Speaking on 30 October 2026, president director and CEO Anindya N. Bakrie attributed the revenue increase to gains at several business units. The group reported these divisional results:
- PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk Group: net revenue increased 48.6% to Rp1.06 trillion, reflecting stronger EV sales and sales growth at PT Bakrie Autoparts Group.
- PT Bakrie Metal Industries Group: net revenue advanced 26.1% to Rp2.09 trillion, with increases across BMI Parent, BPI Parent, PT Suluh Ardhi Engineering and PT Bakrie Construction.
- PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure Group: net revenue rose 248.3% to Rp952.25 billion following the full consolidation of PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (CCT) in 2026.
BNBR director Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti said the lower net profit mainly reflected rising floating rates affecting CCT's interest costs. He said those costs remained relatively high during the initial years after the acquisition.
