IGB Real Estate Investment Trust (IGB Reit) recorded RM144.15 million in net profit for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, compared with RM95.62 million a year earlier. Quarterly revenue reached RM249.33 million, against RM165.19 million in Q2 2026.

In its Bursa Malaysia filing, the trust attributed the increases in revenue, net property income and after-tax profit mainly to additional contributions from Mid Valley Southkey Mall. Higher rental income at Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall also supported the results.

For the nine-month period ending September 30, 2026, net profit was RM446.23 million, up from RM294.70 million in the equivalent period a year earlier. Revenue increased to RM751.62 million from RM496.72 million.

The trust said high occupancy, positive rental reversions and strong demand from tenants supported the performance of its three malls. It also cited their locations, customer loyalty and varied tenant mix as factors underpinning performance.

IGB Reit said its priorities would remain active leasing, adjustments to the tenant mix, asset improvements and cost control. Despite challenges in the wider retail sector, it said it remained positioned to sustain rental income and stable distributions for unitholders.
