TH Plantations Bhd has awarded Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd an RM8.68 million contract to introduce the Sage X3 enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Parent company AwanBiru Technology Bhd (Awantec) disclosed the award in a Bursa Malaysia filing.

Awantec said its wholly owned unit accepted the award on Oct 20, 2026. The five-year engagement includes supplying and configuring the system, carrying out implementation and testing, providing training, and handling commissioning, support and maintenance.

The rollout covers TH Plantations and its subsidiaries, extending to group companies, estates and palm oil mills. It will support palm oil product marketing as well as oil palm cultivation and the processing of fresh fruit bunches.

Subject to unforeseen circumstances, Awantec expects a positive contribution to earnings per share and to net tangible assets per share over the contract’s duration. It flagged possible delays in implementation, testing, training and commissioning. The company said its unit would use detailed implementation planning, set milestones, rigorous testing and project management controls to manage those risks.
