PAGCOR revenue falls 23.41% in first nine months of 2026
Net income dropped 84.85% to ₱2.17 billion as gaming earnings weakened and a court ruling increased required remittances to the Philippine Sports Commission.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) reported revenue of ₱64.41 billion for January–September 2026, a 23.41% fall from ₱84.09 billion a year earlier. The state-run firm attributed the decline to lower earnings from gaming and related services.
Net income fell to ₱2.17 billion from ₱14.32 billion, an 84.85% decrease. PAGCOR linked the profit decline to a Supreme Court ruling requiring it to remit 5% of gross revenue to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), which it said nearly doubled its previous remittance levels.
Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco highlighted weaker electronic gaming earnings, which dropped 37.23% to ₱27.63 billion from ₱44.03 billion. Licensed casinos, the next-largest source of gaming revenue, generated ₱23.10 billion, down 3.22% from ₱23.87 billion.
Casino Filipino revenue decreased 8% to ₱7.28 billion, while poker earnings fell 4.60% to ₱105.86 million. Across gaming operations, revenue totalled ₱58.13 billion, a 23.44% decline from ₱75.93 billion.
Earnings from related services dropped 38.59% to ₱3.04 billion. Other income was broadly unchanged at ₱3.23 billion, against ₱3.20 billion a year earlier.
PAGCOR said its contributions for nation-building and statutory obligations totalled ₱45.28 billion during the period. These included ₱27.61 billion for the National Treasury as the government’s 50% share, ₱3.01 billion for the PSC and ₱2.90 billion in franchise taxes. Tengco said the corporation would continue strengthening operations and regulatory oversight.
