Pag-IBIG net income climbs 23.5 per cent to ₱63.23 billion
Housing lending and acquired-asset sales supported earnings, while the fund reported continued interest in its MP2 savings programme.

Pag-IBIG Fund earned ₱63.23 billion in net income between January and September 2026, a 23.5 per cent increase from ₱51.19 billion a year earlier, according to Benjamin Felix Jr., its deputy CEO for Loans Operations Cluster.
Felix linked the increase to housing loan disbursements and sales of acquired assets. He said asset disposals exceeded the state-run agency’s target and that housing loan takeouts typically strengthen in the second half.
By the end of September, housing loan releases totalled ₱111.29 billion, while short-term lending reached ₱88.64 billion. Felix’s presentation put total assets at ₱1.34 trillion and members’ savings at ₱159.57 billion.
The fund hopes to reach more than ₱165 billion in housing loan takeouts and around ₱120 billion in short-term loans. However, Felix said demand for multipurpose or salary loans usually eases in November and December.
Pag-IBIG also plans to add developer-partners to its Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino network, which has 500 partners. Felix said interest in the MP2 savings programme had continued despite faster inflation.
