PT Bank KB Indonesia Tbk said its net interest income reached Rp926 billion through September 2026, a year-on-year increase of 28.94%. The bank reported an improvement in net interest margin to 1.71% while continuing its business transformation.

Wholesale banking led the expansion in lending, growing 11% year on year. Overall loans increased 3.07% to Rp45.68 trillion. KB Bank said its approach emphasised corporate client relationships and selective financing based on borrower quality and risk.

At the end of September 2026, the bank held assets of Rp82.91 trillion. Third-party deposits amounted to Rp44.58 trillion, of which current and savings accounts accounted for Rp13.01 trillion. It said it was developing corporate and retail customer relationships and increasing transaction activity to strengthen funding.

Its loan-at-risk ratio fell year on year to 21.62% in September 2026. The bank said resolving problem loans and maintaining prudent standards for new credit remained part of its work to improve portfolio quality.

In a written statement dated 30 October 2026, president director Kunardy Darma Lie said stronger fundamentals should accompany business growth. KB Bank said macroeconomic conditions, exchange-rate volatility and competition for liquidity continued to pose challenges to profitability.

To support a sustained recovery in profitability, the bank said it was assessing its asset and liability strategy, seeking to optimise income and pursuing operating efficiencies. Separately, it said controlling shareholder KB Kookmin Bank supported the strengthening of its business capabilities, governance and risk management.
