Indonesia Stock Exchange targets global top 10 under 2030 plan
The exchange aims for market capitalisation of Rp30,000 trillion and 35 million capital-market investors by 2030.

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) aims to rank among the world's 10 largest exchanges by market capitalisation and trading value under its 2026–2030 masterplan, president director Jeffrey Hendrik said on 28 October 2026.
Speaking at a press conference for an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, Jeffrey outlined four targets the exchange wants to reach by 2030:
- Market capitalisation of Rp30,000 trillion.
- Average daily trading value of Rp31 trillion.
- 1,100 listed companies.
- 35 million capital-market investors.
To pursue those goals, BEI has developed a framework with four business pillars and five supporting enablers. Its initiatives fall into three groups: improving liquidity and market access, expanding fundraising and capital formation, and developing new products and infrastructure.
Jeffrey said these initiatives were intended to deepen the market, improve liquidity and broaden companies' funding sources. They also aim to offer products and services better suited to market participants' needs. He said achieving the longer-term goals would require implementation in planned, sustained stages.
