The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) introduced the IDX Commodity 20 on 30 October 2026, tracking share prices of 20 commodity producers and businesses in the sector’s supply chains. The exchange said the index comprises companies with high market capitalisation and good trading liquidity.

The benchmark uses market-capitalisation weighting adjusted for free float, with a ceiling of 15 per cent for any individual stock applied during reviews. Its historical calculation starts from a base value of 100 on 1 September 2021.

Amman Mineral Internasional has a weighting of 15.00 per cent in the initial line-up, while Bumi Resources Minerals accounts for 11.35 per cent and Barito Pacific for 10.88 per cent. Other constituents include Merdeka Copper Gold, Bumi Resources, ANTAM (Persero), Vale Indonesia and Chandra Asri Pacific.

BEI will review constituent selection and weights in February and August, with changes taking effect on the first trading days of March and September. Weight-only reviews are scheduled for May and November, effective on the first trading days of June and December.

The initial constituents apply from 30 October 2026 to 26 February 2027. The share quantities used to calculate the index apply from 30 October 2026 to 30 November 2026, according to the exchange’s disclosure.
