Globe Telecom Inc. is seeking a bigger share of the Philippine enterprise market after first-half revenue from its corporate business climbed 15 per cent to a record ₱11 billion. The operator sees scope for the unit to generate more income over the longer term.

The segment represented 13 per cent of Globe’s ₱85.4 billion revenue for the period. Globe views it as a growth opportunity as artificial intelligence develops, with enterprise offerings spanning internet packages and cybersecurity services.

According to Globe, businesses want more value from their subscriptions and are seeking digital services to improve day-to-day efficiency. The company said further growth would depend on continued customer adoption and the returns from its infrastructure investments, alongside service quality and cost control.

To develop additional capabilities for future demand, Globe lifted first-half capital expenditure 39 per cent to ₱26.3 billion. More than 91 per cent went towards expanding infrastructure, including work to extend network coverage and improve service quality.

Globe aims to hold capital expenditure below US$1 billion for 2026, seeking to contain costs while continuing its expansion.
