Frontken Corp Bhd reported net profit of RM57.25 million for its third quarter ending September 30, 2026, up 25 per cent from RM45.83 million a year earlier. The company attributed the gain to better results from its core businesses and cost controls.

Quarterly revenue grew 12 per cent, reaching RM181.04 million against RM161.87 million in the previous corresponding period, according to its Bursa Malaysia filing.

Over the first nine months of 2026, net profit climbed 33 per cent to RM147.33 million, compared with RM110.39 million a year earlier. Revenue reached RM557.76 million, a 24 per cent increase from RM450.86 million, with all three key markets contributing more.

Malaysian subsidiaries recorded revenue growth of 18 per cent, chiefly from increased sales in oil and gas supply activities. Singapore operations saw semiconductor volumes recover, while Taiwan revenue rose 11 per cent. Frontken said Taiwan's like-for-like growth in New Taiwan dollars would have been 24 per cent, driven by semiconductor demand and customer orders.

On September 17, 2026, Frontken paid a single-tier dividend totalling RM36.26 million, or 2.0 sen for each ordinary share, for its financial year ending December 31, 2026.

Frontken expects semiconductor activity to stay strong, citing long-term demand linked to artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, automotive electronics and advanced manufacturing. It said it was improving operational capabilities and selectively expanding capacity, while remaining cautiously optimistic about the rest of 2026.
