Danantara targets 2027 start for Danareksa business-model overhaul
A consolidation involving 12 state-owned industrial estates will underpin Danareksa’s shift towards integrated estate management, with five ready for the transaction stage.

Danantara wants consolidation of Danareksa’s industrial estate operations completed in 2026, allowing a business-model overhaul to start in 2027. Dony Oskaria, head of BP BUMN and chief operating officer of Danantara, said the changes would focus Danareksa on operating integrated industrial estates.
The exercise forms part of a broader effort to consolidate and simplify state-owned enterprise structures during 2026. It involves 12 industrial estates held by state-owned enterprises, five of which are ready for the transaction stage, according to remarks published on BP BUMN’s official Instagram account on 28 October 2026.
Dony envisaged special economic zones and industrial estates becoming cities with smart-city features. Danareksa’s remit would extend beyond providing business facilities to developing an integrated ecosystem for industrial activity.
Danareksa has also been urged to finish its industrial estate development roadmap promptly. The consolidation is intended to help it identify revenue streams and establish development priorities as it shapes the new business model.
Dony said the estates carry a state mandate to bring investment into Indonesia and generate employment, alongside their commercial objectives. He called for development on a large scale to attract investors and create jobs.
