CTOS posts RM27.54 million quarterly profit as revenue grows
Malaysian segment profit rose from the preceding quarter, while international earnings fell amid non-recurring expenses.

CTOS Digital Bhd recorded an 11.5 per cent year-on-year rise in third-quarter net profit, reaching RM27.54 million against RM24.69 million previously. The credit reporting group's Bursa Malaysia filing put revenue at RM87.56 million, a 5.5 per cent increase from RM83.01 million, for the quarter ending 30 September 2026.
Shareholders will receive 0.70 sen per share under the group's third interim dividend, declared on a single-tier basis. Payment is due on 27 January 2027 and relates to the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
In Malaysia, segment profit reached RM24.5 million, compared with RM18.4 million in the previous quarter, a rise of 33 per cent. CTOS attributed the improvement to increased revenue and a disposal gain involving an investment in an associate.
The international segment, which includes alternative data credit-scoring businesses in Indonesia and the Philippines, recorded profit of RM1.3 million. That was 62.8 per cent below the preceding quarter's RM3.4 million. CTOS mainly attributed the fall to non-recurring expenses, including dividend withholding tax and retrospective adjustments to staff costs. Revenue outside Malaysia was RM13.9 million, down 1.7 per cent from RM14.1 million amid slower sales growth.
For January–September 2026, net profit totalled RM68.71 million, a 14 per cent rise from RM60.29 million a year earlier. Revenue reached RM256.02 million against RM238.08 million, increasing 7.5 per cent. The group attributed that revenue growth to both its Malaysian and international businesses.
