Brookland buys stake in Vietnamese recycled packaging maker Miza
The investor plans to expand its holding in stages, but neither the initial investment amount nor the size of its stake has been disclosed.

Brookland Group & Partners Limited has acquired shares in Vietnamese recycled paper and packaging producer Miza from an existing shareholder, according to the investment firm. Brookland, which operates in Dubai and Singapore, said it intends to build its stake through further purchases in stages.
Miza did not issue new shares for the transaction. Neither party disclosed how much Brookland invested in the first tranche or what percentage of the company it acquired. Miza is listed under the ticker MZG.
Established in 2010, Miza turns waste paper into packaging paper for industrial use, cardboard boxes and paper bags. Its principal factory is in Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa Province. Brookland said Miza generated approximately US$185 million in revenue in 2025.
Brookland Group managing partner John Hall described the purchase as a first step towards long-term cooperation with Miza. He said international investors were showing greater interest in Vietnam’s manufacturing sector.
Figures from the Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association show that Vietnam consumed approximately 7.77 million metric tons of paper in 2025, an increase of 10.8 per cent. Consumption was higher than domestic output, which stood at about 6.34 million metric tons.
