Hsieh Fu Hua to chair CapitaLand Investment from January 2027
Temasek Singapore president Png Chin Yee will also join the board, replacing Gabriel Lim as a non-executive, non-independent director.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) said on Oct 22 that Hsieh Fu Hua will become its independent chairman on Jan 1, 2027, succeeding Miguel Ko. Hsieh’s appointment also carries the role of non-executive independent director.
Ko, 73, is due to retire when his term ends on Dec 31, leaving his positions as non-executive chairman and non-independent director. His service with the group will total 12 years, beginning with his appointment as Ascendas-Singbridge’s CEO in 2014.
Hsieh, 75, became CLI’s deputy chairman in August. His earlier leadership roles include positions at Singapore Exchange, Temasek and UOB. He also chairs the board of trustees at the National University of Singapore.
On Oct 2, Hsieh left his role as UltraGreen.ai’s lead independent director to make more time for other commitments. The medical technology company said then that he had assumed the deputy chairmanship of CLI and chairmanship of the National Wage Council in August.
CLI also named Temasek Singapore president Png Chin Yee to succeed Gabriel Lim as a non-executive, non-independent director from Jan 1. Lim’s term ends on Dec 31, concluding more than nine years with the group after he joined the board of the then CapitaLand Limited in 2017.
