Aceteam Networks Sdn Bhd has awarded Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd, a unit of Theta Edge Bhd, an exclusive RM33.01 million contract to procure and supply computers, Theta Edge said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The agreement covers a maximum of 5,742 laptops and desktop computers as part of a device-as-a-service lifecycle management project. The filing described Aceteam Networks as a Malaysian provider of information technology solutions.

The appointment begins when the first delivery is made. Its five-year term runs from the successful completion date of the User Acceptance Test.

Theta Edge said the contract would allow the group to draw on Theta Technologies' existing technology and IT expertise. It expects the appointment to broaden the unit's computer hardware procurement and supply activities, offering scope for additional revenue and a stronger business relationship with Aceteam.
