Indonesia Stock Exchange sets Rp21 trillion daily trading target for 2027
Its annual budget projects revenue of Rp2.59 trillion and net profit of Rp563.9 billion, alongside higher investment spending.

Average daily trading worth Rp21 trillion is among the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s assumptions for its 2027 budget, which forecasts revenue growth of 14.6 per cent to Rp2.59 trillion. The exchange also projects a 22.76 per cent increase in net profit to Rp563.9 billion.
President director Jeffrey Hendrik outlined the projections on 28 October 2026 during a virtual press conference for an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting. He said domestic and global economic conditions, the outlook for capital-market growth and current-year performance informed the budget.
The exchange’s three principal budget assumptions are:
- Daily trading averaging Rp21 trillion, an increase of 16.7 per cent from Rp18 trillion.
- New securities listings of Rp905 trillion, 13.1 per cent above the Rp800 trillion in the 2026 budget.
- Monthly active investors averaging 1.3 million, up 44.4 per cent from the 2026 budget assumption of 900,000.
The securities-listing target includes shares, bond and sukuk issues, structured warrants and collective investment products. To support its investor target, the exchange will extend education, financial literacy and investor activation activities through its representative offices, investment galleries and digital channels.
Jeffrey said global uncertainty remained a concern, while domestic economic stability, government policies supporting investment and growing capital-market activity presented opportunities. The exchange expects trading, securities-listing services and exchange-data services to underpin revenue growth.
Its financial projections put assets at Rp9.12 trillion and equity at Rp7.66 trillion. The investment budget stands at Rp670 billion, up 161.82 per cent, intended for infrastructure management and future business growth.
