HeiTech Padu and Zetrix AI agree not to renew lapsed pact
HeiTech Padu says the agreement’s expiry has no material effect on delivery of the National Integrated Immigration System project.

HeiTech Padu Bhd said its collaboration agreement with Zetrix AI Bhd had expired, with both companies deciding against an extension. In a Bursa Malaysia filing, it said the expiry had no material impact on implementing or delivering the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project.
The clarification followed reports about the lapse of the companies’ NIISe collaboration. HeiTech Padu said the expired Teaming Agreement no longer provided a basis for any ongoing cooperation between the companies on that project.
Signed on April 16, 2024, the pact was intended as a temporary arrangement through which the companies would examine possible opportunities in Malaysia’s information technology services sector, HeiTech Padu said.
A separate Supplemental Agreement, signed on Aug 4, 2025, documented their understanding of each company’s responsibilities and roles under the original pact. HeiTech Padu said that, at the time of its announcement, it had no active projects that required cooperation with Zetrix under the supplemental arrangement.
