HB Global to miss annual report deadline, faces trading suspension
The company attributed the delay mainly to its auditor's withdrawal, while Singapore's regulator rejected an appeal to change its financial year-end.

HB Global Ltd said it cannot meet the Oct 30, 2026 deadline for its FY26 annual report and faces a trading suspension if the report remains outstanding beyond the permitted period. The report covers the financial year ended June 30, 2026.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company attributed the expected delay chiefly to the withdrawal of UHY Malaysia PLT as its auditor. It said this had disrupted the audit's completion and the finalisation of the report, which includes audited financial statements and reports from the auditors and directors.
HB Global said Singapore's Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority rejected its appeal on Oct 27, 2026, following an earlier refusal to allow its financial year-end to move from June 30, 2026, to Nov 30, 2026. The Oct 30 deadline therefore still applies.
Bursa Malaysia's Main Market Listing Requirements provide for suspension if the report is not issued within five market days after the deadline. The company said trading would be suspended from 9 am on Nov 10, 2026, unless Bursa Malaysia decides otherwise, as Nov 9, 2026 is a Deepavali public holiday.
The company said it would work with professional advisers on appointing suitable auditors and finishing the outstanding audit to fulfil its financial reporting obligations.
