GDB secures RM877 million contract for Shah Alam logistics hub
Construction is scheduled to start in November 2026, with completion expected in September 2029.

GDB Holdings Bhd has won a contract worth RM877 million for a logistics development in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, taking its outstanding order book to RM2.93 billion.
The award went to Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned GDB subsidiary. Its scope covers two logistics buildings, each with five storeys and integrated mezzanine offices, alongside a cafeteria spanning three storeys.
Work is due to begin in November 2026 and is expected to finish in September 2029. The construction period is 34 months.
GDB said the award was its largest logistics project to date. Contracts secured during the year now total RM2.69 billion, which the company described as its highest annual replenishment.
The company said its record outstanding order book offered earnings visibility through 2031. It expects the logistics project to support earnings during construction and said financing would come from internally generated funds alongside conventional bank loans.
