Dialog Group Bhd is expanding its petroleum-product storage facilities at Tanjung Langsat in Johor, adding 100,000 cubic metres of capacity. In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said work was expected to start immediately.

The project is scheduled for completion by mid-2029. Once finished, it would lift Dialog’s combined storage capacity at Tanjung Langsat to more than 1.1 million cubic metres.

The expansion involves Dialog Terminals Langsat (3) Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary. Dialog said it would handle engineering, procurement and construction for storage facilities serving petroleum and petrochemical-related products, with connections to marine facilities already in place.

Dialog expects the extra capacity to support future earnings. It also said it would continue diversifying across upstream, downstream and midstream energy businesses, alongside sustainable and renewable energy. The company said this approach was intended to help it benefit from differing economic conditions and oil-price cycles while pursuing recurring income over the long term.
