Hoang Anh Gia Lai JSC (HAGL) reported consolidated net profit of ₫2.67 trillion for the first nine months of 2026, more than twice the year-earlier figure. The Vietnamese agricultural company's earnings were boosted largely by a ₫1,535 billion waiver of bond interest expenses.

Revenue for the nine-month period declined 12% to nearly ₫4.95 trillion, while profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company increased 95% to ₫2.43 trillion. The Vietnam Debt and Asset Trading Corporation, under the Ministry of Finance, granted the interest relief. HAGL disclosed the waiver in April, citing a resolution adopted by the corporation's board of members on March 30.

For the third quarter, HAGL recorded nearly ₫1.91 trillion in consolidated revenue, a 1% increase from a year earlier. Fruit contributed more than ₫1.46 trillion, accounting for 77% of revenue. Consolidated net profit rose 9% to nearly ₫470 billion, but the portion attributable to parent shareholders slipped 2% to ₫406 billion.

At September 30, total assets were ₫29.38 trillion, up 5% from the end of June, and cash and bank deposits were nearly ₫1.63 trillion. Borrowings totalled nearly ₫8.72 trillion, including ₫5.61 trillion in bank loans. Outstanding bonds amounted to ₫2.96 trillion across two issuances arranged by OCBS Securities, with maturities in August 2028 and April 2029.
