Binastra subsidiary awarded RM303.8 million Klang warehouse project
The award brings the group's year-to-date contract wins to RM1.6 billion and its outstanding order book to RM6.2 billion.

PTT Synexis Sdn Bhd has awarded Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd a RM303.8 million contract for an automated warehouse in Klang. The Binastra Corp Bhd subsidiary is scheduled to begin construction on 11 November, with the project expected to take less than 11 months.
The facility will use an automated storage and retrieval system. Work covers piling, a warehouse with one storey and a mezzanine, an office block with three storeys, and two buildings for mechanical and electrical services. The plans also include a car park with five storeys, a depot for containers and ancillary facilities.
Binastra described the award as a chance to widen its portfolio into specialised industrial infrastructure and build its capabilities in technology-enabled warehouse construction.
Managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng said the group intended to seek further industrial and technology-driven construction projects. He said expansion in fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing and retail, together with demand for more efficient supply chains, optimised storage and greater operational productivity, was driving demand for more sophisticated facilities.
Following the award, Binastra reported RM1.6 billion in year-to-date contract wins. The company said its RM6.2 billion outstanding order book offered earnings visibility for up to three years.
